OPTIONS FOR EVEN MORE POWER
We were the first company to introduce extended panels into the market 2 years ago. It seemed like a great idea at the time but our customer experiences have taught us otherwise. Due to the length of the panels, (62 inches), they were very difficult to handle and we found them prone to damage during installation. We also found that after sitting on a bimini top for a few months, the panels became warped and bent, causing damage to the cells.
This year, we are introducing the same extended panel configuration using two panels which has solved the issues associated with one long panel. This installation requires only 72" of space on your canvas.
Using 2 panels, a 110W and a 50W, you will achieve the exact same power as a single extended panel without the potential issues. We have used this panel configuration for years with great success using SUNPOWER branded panels . The panels use the same number of magnets to secure them and they are much easier to manipulate than the long extended panels.

This is our most popular option for installing one, two or three panels on your bimini top. This installation requires 46" across the flat area of the canvas and 22" between the bimini support bars. We do not recommend installing panels over top of the canvas support bars. The panels must sit directly in the canvas in between the support bars.
